With this glorious weather upon us, it’s a great time to be outdoors! And what better way to soak up some sun than discovering Ireland and all its beauty.
One of the best ways to switch off from a busy working week is to get outdoors, be active and take on a new Irish adventure. Whether you’re a fitness pro, an outdoor enthusiast or looking for a challenge, there’s an adventure race here for everyone.
last one running
For something a little different, why not try last one running? Participants run a 3.8km loop multiple times until they literally run out of time. The first loop has a time limit of 30 minutes and on every loop thereafter the time is reduced by 1 minute making it more difficult each time! Anyone who does not make it over the line within the allocated time is disqualified until there is literally one person left running – a little like the beep test, for those of you who remember it.
Taking place July 21st in Westport
The Irish Cancer Society are bringing back the Colour Dash 5k race once again! This is a fun-filled day with colour bombs, music and of course, exercise.
