The OFFSITE fringe festival now in its third edition, is the perfect opportunity for creatives to thrive: to learn from each other, to share their ideas, to inspire and be inspired by their peers.
This year Iconic Offices have partnered with OFFSET, with our newest space, The Greenway acting as the OFFSITE Hub for the majority of the OFFSITE events from Monday 19th – Thursday 22nd March.
Here’s the exciting part…to celebrate our partnership, OFFSET have are giving two exclusive seats on each day time workshop and five seats at each evening event, just for you, our Iconic members.

Workshop with Sam Arthur from Nobrow And Flying Eye Books
10:00am – 1:00pm & 2:00pm – 5:00pm | Monday 19th March | @THE GREENWAY
Learn some of the tricks of the trade from publisher Sam Arthur. Throughout the day Sam will lead participants through a process of making a picture book from scratch by hand. In doing so you will pick up some invaluable insights into the way Nobrow works with artists and illustrators and how they go about creating some of the loveliest visual books around.

Glug is a global creative community connecting, inspiring & educating creatives from all corners of the industry, and the world. Based around a series of talks and informal networking, Glug has become one of the most exciting, credible and well-attended creative events around.

Workshop with IBM
10:00am – 4:00pm | Tuesday 20th March | @The Greenway
AI Accelerator is an intensive, one-day accelerator program brought to you by IBM Design and IBM in Ireland. The AI Accelerator workshop, run by members of IBM’s AI Experience team, will introduce attendees to the principles of designing and building with artificial intelligence through design thinking and collaboration. By the end of the workshop, we expect participants to have a clear, practical understanding of how artificial intelligence works; its importance to the modern world, and how to find applications for it.

If you didn’t attend the AI Accelerator workshop earlier in the day, not to worry, as the social event this evening is an opportunity for professionals, academics, designers, makers, and community members to come together to share knowledge and ideas.
During the evening social there will be lots of networking opportunities, a panel discussion with practitioners and thought leaders in the industry, and of course…food, music and drinks!

A step by step workshop on the elements to consider in successfully setting up your own indie magazine – from developing the concept, design, format (size, paper stock etc), publishing frequency, PR/marketing and building your brand.
Workshop led by Conor Purcell, an experienced, writer, editor and publisher who has created award-winning magazine and books across the world.
Book Launch & Panel Discussion

Join us for the book launch of The Magazine Blueprint is a how-to guide to creating your own independent magazine, it focuses on everything from paper stock and design to distribution and marketing. With insights from more than 60 of the world’s best magazine makers, distributors and marketers, it’s the most comprehensive guide to magazine making on the market.

Design your own display typeface with OFFSET Speaker 2017 and Dalton Maag founder Bruno Maag & Dalton Maag Creative Director Lukas Paltram.
From sketching to digital and the considerations therein, participants will design their own concept for a display typeface using the same letters. The outcome of the workshop could be to design posters with the different typefaces.

The 100 Archive is a platform for the Irish design community which maps the past, present and future of Irish visual communication. Through a range of activities both on- and offline the 100 Archive presents, discusses and contextualises Irish design activity and charts the people, places and ideas that shape it. It creates an annual selection of 100 diverse graphic design projects made by designers all over Ireland.
