Tuesday, 25th August | 12:30 – 13:10pm
COVID-19 has taught us the value of having our businesses online now more than ever. Traditional bricks and mortar businesses have suffered the most. For many the idea of getting your business online sounds like a major ordeal, both in terms of effort and budget. Getting your business online does not mean that you need to have a huge e-commerce store or spend all your time updating your social media accounts. Diane takes you through several quick, simple and cost-effective ways to take your business online.
You’ll learn the advantages and disadvantages of each platform from building a free website on WordPress, to using email to communicate with your customers, setting up social media company pages, to setting up an e-commerce function using Shopify or an online marketplace such as Etsy. Diane also discusses some of the practicalities around how to accept payment, and other considerations when you are setting up online.
Whether you deal with B2B or B2C customers, it’s important to choose which platform is right for your business, dependent on your business strategy your budget, and your capabilities.
This event is free to Iconic Community Members and non-members.
