With World Sleep Day taking place in March, what better time to improve our mental and physical health by discovering better sleep practices.
Sleep is the foundation of our health and wellbeing. Then why do we continuously practice behaviours that jeopardise the amount and quality of sleep that we get. Over time, depriving your body of the sleep it needs is just as harmful as chronically overeating or not exercising and the consequences are much more serious than next day drowsiness.
As much as we’d like to believe in the super powers of yoga, green smoothies, and meditation, none of it will make up for lost shut eye. This talk will guide you to understand the implication of long-term sleep deprivation and give you practical tips to get your sleep pattern and hygiene back on track.
